These Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy apply to the purchase of tickets for, registration to and attendance at FAIR Barcelona 2026, organised by Fair Cultures.
By purchasing a ticket, registering for the event or attending the event, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and acknowledge the processing of your personal data as described in this document.
1. Event details

Minimum age: 16+
Attendees aged 16 or 17 may attend only with prior authorisation from a parent or legal guardian. Fair Cultures may request evidence of such authorisation and reserves the right to refuse entry if the required authorisation is not provided.
2. Ticket types
FAIR Barcelona 2026 offers three main ticket categories: CORE PASS, PRO PASS and EXPERT PASS.
Ticket benefits may vary depending on the pass purchased, the timing of purchase and any applicable promotional offer.
2.1 CORE PASS
The CORE PASS may include:

access to two stages

main keynotes and panel discussions
-
access to workshops, subject to availability and capacity
-
general networking area
-
access to the FAIR After Party
2.2 PRO PASS
The PRO PASS may include:

all CORE PASS benefits
-
priority registration to workshops
-
access to the PRO networking area
-
food and drinks in the PRO networking area, subject to event arrangements
2.3 EXPERT PASS
The EXPERT PASS may include:

all PRO PASS benefits
-
access to the FAIR Speaker’s Cocktail
-
extended networking opportunities
-
recordings of sessions on stage 1 and stage 2, where recordings are produced and made available

parking and direct concierge support, subject to availability
3. Prices, VAT and discounts
The standard full ticket prices are:

CORE PASS: €319 VAT included
-
PRO PASS: €579 VAT included
-
EXPERT PASS: €889 VAT included
Discounts, early bird, very early bird or promotional prices may apply. Such offers may be limited in time, quantity or eligibility.
The price displayed at checkout at the time of purchase is the applicable price. Fair Cultures may change prices or promotional offers at any time, but such changes will not affect tickets already purchased.
Additional platform, payment or processing fees may apply depending on the ticketing and payment providers used.
4. Ticketing and payment platform
Tickets are sold through Ticket Tailor.
Payments may be processed through Ticket Tailor and payment providers such as Stripe. Fair Cultures does not store full payment card details.
Ticket confirmation, access information and relevant event communications may be sent to the email address provided during purchase.
5. Ticket refunds
Tickets are non-refundable, except where the event is cancelled by Fair Cultures or where a refund is expressly offered under these Terms.
If FAIR Barcelona 2026 is cancelled by Fair Cultures, ticket holders may request a refund of the ticket price actually paid.
If the event is postponed, tickets will remain valid for the new date. Alternatively, buyers may request a refund.
Where a refund is granted, the refund may exclude non-refundable Ticket Tailor, Stripe, payment, banking or platform fees where such fees are not refunded to Fair Cultures by the relevant third-party provider.
Fair Cultures is not responsible for any travel, accommodation, restaurant, parking or other external costs incurred by attendees.
6. Ticket transfers
Tickets may be transferred to another person only upon request and written confirmation by Fair Cultures.
Transfer requests must be sent to:
Transfer requests must be received at least 48 hours before the event.
A transfer is not valid until confirmed in writing by Fair Cultures. Fair Cultures may refuse a transfer where the request is incomplete, late, abusive, technically impossible or incompatible with event access, security or administrative requirements.
7. Access and badges
Attendees may be required to present their ticket, confirmation email, identification document or other access credentials at the venue.
Fair Cultures may issue attendee badges. Badges may display:

Badges are personal and may not be shared, resold or used by another person without prior written confirmation from Fair Cultures.
Fair Cultures reserves the right to refuse entry where ticket details cannot be verified or where these Terms have been breached.
8. Workshops and capacity
Workshop places are limited and subject to capacity.
CORE PASS holders may access workshops subject to availability and registration capacity.
PRO PASS and EXPERT PASS holders have priority registration for workshops. Priority registration is subject to advance registration, booking order and available capacity. Priority registration does not guarantee access where a workshop is already full or where operational limits apply.
Fair Cultures may modify workshop formats, speakers, locations, timing, capacity or availability without this giving rise to any refund right.
9. Programme changes
Fair Cultures may change any aspect of the event programme where reasonably necessary, including:

food and drink arrangements

Programme changes do not entitle attendees to a refund unless the event is cancelled or postponed under Section 5.
10. Code of conduct
FAIR Barcelona 2026 is intended to be a respectful, professional and inclusive event.
Fair Cultures has no tolerance for harassment, intimidation, threats, discrimination, abusive language, violence or disruptive behaviour.
Attendees must behave respectfully towards other attendees, speakers, sponsors, partners, venue staff, suppliers, security staff and the Fair Cultures team.
Fair Cultures may refuse entry or remove any attendee who breaches this Code of Conduct or whose behaviour creates a safety, security, legal, reputational or operational risk.
Removal from the event under this section does not entitle the attendee to a refund.
11. Security, venue rules and right to remove attendees
The event takes place at TBS Education - Barcelona. Attendees must comply with applicable venue rules, access procedures, safety instructions, security instructions and emergency procedures.
Security, venue access control, evacuation procedures, venue infrastructure and venue safety are primarily managed by TBS Education - Barcelona and/or its appointed facility and security providers.
Fair Cultures may cooperate with TBS Education - Barcelona, security providers, emergency services or public authorities where necessary.
Fair Cultures may refuse entry or remove attendees for:

security concerns
-
harassment or abusive behaviour
-
violent, unlawful or disruptive conduct
-
failure to follow staff, venue or security instructions
-
misuse of tickets or badges
-
intoxication or unsafe behaviour
-
breach of these Terms & Conditions
12. Personal belongings
Attendees remain responsible for their personal belongings at all times, including bags, laptops, phones, coats, documents, valuables and any other personal property.
Fair Cultures is not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings, unless caused by Fair Cultures’ own proven fault and only to the extent that such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Accidents, injury and medical situations
Attendees are responsible for assessing their own ability and fitness to attend the event.
Fair Cultures is not liable for accidents, injury, illness or medical situations unless directly caused by Fair Cultures’ own proven fault or where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Where an accident or incident is caused by the venue, venue infrastructure, venue personnel, venue security or venue-appointed providers, responsibility remains with the relevant venue or provider, to the extent permitted by law.
Where an accident or incident is caused by a supplier, contractor, food vendor, service provider or other third party, responsibility remains with that party, to the extent permitted by law.
In case of emergency, Fair Cultures, the venue team or security may contact emergency services.
14. Food, drinks, allergies and dietary requirements
Food and drinks may be provided by third-party vendors, caterers, suppliers or venue-related providers.
Attendees are responsible for informing the relevant food vendor or provider directly of any allergies, intolerances or dietary restrictions.
Fair Cultures cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment and is not liable for food-related incidents caused by third-party vendors, caterers, suppliers or providers, except where Fair Cultures has mandatory legal responsibility.
15. Parking
Parking, where included or offered, is subject to availability.
Fair Cultures does not guarantee parking availability unless expressly confirmed in writing.
Vehicles and belongings left inside vehicles remain at the attendee’s own risk. Fair Cultures is not liable for theft, loss, damage or incidents involving vehicles or items left in vehicles, unless caused by Fair Cultures’ own proven fault and only to the extent that such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
16. Third-party conduct
Fair Cultures is not responsible for violence, theft, harassment, unlawful acts, misconduct or other behaviour by attendees, visitors, external persons, protesters, suppliers, partners, sponsors or other third parties, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Fair Cultures may take reasonable action in response to such behaviour, including removal from the event, cooperation with venue security and cooperation with public authorities.
17. Force majeure and events beyond reasonable control
Fair Cultures is not liable for delay, cancellation, interruption, modification or failure to perform where caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
Such events may include, without limitation:

public authority decisions

security threats
-
severe weather
-
strikes or labour disruption
-
transport disruption
-
epidemic or pandemic restrictions
-
power failure
-
venue closure
-
supplier failure
-
technical failure outside Fair Cultures’ reasonable control
-
civil unrest
-
fire, flood or other emergency
-
any other unforeseeable or unavoidable event
Where such an event affects FAIR Barcelona 2026, Fair Cultures may modify, postpone or cancel the event in accordance with these Terms.
18. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fair Cultures’ liability is limited to direct damages proven to have been caused by Fair Cultures’ own negligence, wilful misconduct or breach of mandatory legal obligations.
Fair Cultures is not liable for indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of opportunity, loss of profit, reputational damage, travel costs, accommodation costs or other external expenses.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law.
Privacy Policy
19. Data controller
For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, Fair Cultures, operating under NIE Z0923402A, is the data controller for the personal data processed in connection with FAIR Barcelona 2026 ticket purchases, registration and event participation.

22. Legal bases for processing
Fair Cultures processes personal data on the following legal bases:
Performance of a contract
To process ticket purchases, manage registration, provide access to the event and deliver the services linked to the ticket purchased.
Legal obligation
To comply with tax, accounting, invoicing, regulatory and legal obligations.
Legitimate interest
To organise and manage the event, ensure event security, communicate essential event information, document the event and improve future editions.
Consent
Where required, including for optional sharing of attendee contact information with official FAIR Barcelona 2026 partners and sponsors for relevant follow-up.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing already carried out before withdrawal.
23. Sponsor and partner data sharing
FAIR Barcelona 2026 may involve official sponsors, partners, venue partners, suppliers and affiliated third parties.
Fair Cultures may share personal data with third parties where necessary for event organisation, access control, security, venue logistics, badge production, invoicing, ticketing, payment processing or delivery of the event experience.
Fair Cultures will share attendee professional contact information with official sponsors or partners for their own follow-up only where the attendee has opted in.

24. Marketing and event communications
Fair Cultures may send attendees practical communications related to FAIR Barcelona 2026, including access details, schedule updates, venue information, workshop information, security information and relevant operational notices.
Fair Cultures may also send communications about FAIR Barcelona, Fair Cultures activities and similar future events where legally permitted.
Attendees may unsubscribe or object to promotional communications at any time by contacting:
Commercial communications will include a simple way to unsubscribe where required.
25. Photography, filming and recordings
FAIR Barcelona 2026 may be photographed, filmed, streamed or recorded.
Images, video, audio and recordings may be used by Fair Cultures for:

press and media communication

marketing and promotional material

sponsor and partner communication

future event promotion

internal event reporting
By attending the event, attendees acknowledge that they may appear in general event photography, crowd images, stage recordings or background footage.
Attendees who do not wish to appear in close-up or identifiable promotional material must object:

during the event by informing the Fair Cultures team or event staff
Objections must be made before or during the event. Objections made after the event may not be possible to apply, especially where material has already been produced, edited, published, distributed or shared with third parties.
Fair Cultures will make reasonable efforts to respect valid objections, but general crowd shots, stage images, audience images and non-focused event footage may still be used.
26. Ticket Tailor, Stripe and service providers
Tickets are sold through Ticket Tailor.
Ticket Tailor may process personal data on behalf of Fair Cultures for ticketing, checkout, order management and related services.
Payments may be processed by Stripe or other payment providers integrated with the ticketing platform.
Fair Cultures may also use trusted service providers for email communication, event management, hosting, analytics, administration, accounting, security, badge production, venue logistics, photography, video production and related event services.
Such providers may process personal data only where necessary for the relevant service.
27. International transfers
Some service providers may process data outside Spain or outside the European Economic Area.
Where this occurs, Fair Cultures will rely on appropriate safeguards where required by applicable data protection law.
28. Data retention
Fair Cultures retains personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this document.
This may include retention for:

Where data is processed based on consent, Fair Cultures will retain it until consent is withdrawn, unless another lawful basis allows or requires continued retention.
Where data is used for marketing, Fair Cultures will retain it until the attendee unsubscribes, objects or requests deletion, unless another lawful basis applies.
29. Data security
Fair Cultures applies reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Attendees are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide is accurate and that they keep their ticket confirmation and access credentials secure.

Under applicable data protection law, attendees may have the right to:

Attendees are responsible for providing accurate, complete and up-to-date information when purchasing a ticket or registering for the event.
Fair Cultures is not responsible for failed delivery of ticket confirmations, access information or event communications where the attendee has provided incorrect or outdated contact details.
32. Changes to these Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy
Fair Cultures may update these Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy where necessary for legal, operational, technical or event-related reasons.
The version available on the Fair Cultures website at the time of ticket purchase will apply to the purchase, unless an update is required by law or is necessary for the safe and proper operation of the event.
33. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy are governed by the laws of Spain.
Where legally permitted, any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Barcelona, Spain.
This does not affect any mandatory consumer rights or mandatory jurisdiction rules that may apply.
