Mahmoud Assy is a DEI expert, human rights advocate, and cross-cultural trainer whose work is deeply shaped by lived experience, migration, and community building. Based in Spain, he is the founder and CEO of Eufonía Diversity, where he helps organisations build more equitable, inclusive, and culturally aware workplaces and communities.

Originally from Egypt and having arrived in Europe as a refugee, Mahmoud brings a uniquely intersectional perspective to conversations around belonging, power, and organisational culture. Fluent in six languages and working across diverse international contexts, he explores how workplace norms, behaviours, and systems quietly shape who gets heard, trusted, promoted, or excluded, and what people are expected to change about themselves in order to belong.

Alongside his consulting work, Mahmoud has contributed to initiatives supporting migrants, refugees, LGBTQIA+ communities, and intercultural dialogue through organisations including Bridge for Billions and CEAR. His work encourages organisations to ask better questions about fairness, visibility, and power, and to rethink the structures that influence everyday workplace experiences.

Connect with Mahmoud on Linkedin and meet in person Oct. 1st in Barcelona.
