Nicolò Mazzocchi is the CEO and Co-Founder of Skillvue, a fast-growing AI company helping organisations assess skills with greater clarity, consistency and fairness.

His path into entrepreneurship started early. A professional sailor until the age of 17, Nicolò spent much of his adolescence competing internationally, an experience that exposed him to different cultures and taught him the importance of resilience, teamwork and judgement under pressure.

At 18, he founded his first company and quickly noticed something that would shape his future work: technical ability matters, but soft skills often determine whether people, teams and companies truly succeed. This became the foundation for Skillvue, formerly Algo AI, which he co-founded to help companies evaluate human skills through innovative AI-powered tools and move towards more skills-based organisational models.
